 Biography

Professioanal Interests and Expertise

  • Industrial controls and instrumentation - especially computerized systems, water and wastewater applications such as SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) and open-channel flow measurement
  • Computer system and network security - Windows & Macintosh PC systems
  • Biomedical instrumentation - physiological measurement and biofeedback
  • Sytem design and integration - project management, design, construction and service/troubleshooting
  • Teaching and training - I enjoy working with students and passing on what I have learned through experience



Current Department Responsibilities

  • Maintaining, operating and improving the Germano (student) computer lab and department servers
  • Providing department level IT support including Windows AD maintenance, department PC maintenance and campus IT liason
  • Providing advice, maintenance and construction help on electronics used in research projects and student labs
  • Providing guest lectures on instrumentation, controls and measurement to department courses
